XN Industrial was a fraudulent company set up by the Mechanic during his operation to locate the TV-21. They hired two workers, Clarke and Sontag, and supplied them with the Deep Ocean Surveyor under the pretence of going on an expedition to map the Mariana Trench.
When the TV-21 was located in Up from the Depths Part 1, the company was revealed as being nothing more than a façade.
