A utility gun was used to good effect in Give or Take a Million to rob a bank.
Its main function of drilling through walls also has the ability to cut-out larger holes by a sideways movement. The gun has a bag attachment to contain the dust and other tools can be fitted into the gun such as suction cups that are fired by compressed air.
How it Works[]
The gun has a simple push/click attachment and can load a variety of tools. In Give or Take a Million it was used by Scobie and Straker to cut a hole through the wall of Harman's Department Store straight into the vault of the Second National Bank. The floor of the vault was protected by a touch-sensitive alarm, so a rope and harness had to be fired across the vault, allowing Scobie to be pulled across without touching the floor, to reach the gold bars stored in the vault.
