Tanner works in the packaging section at Harman's Department Store; and amongst the many holiday gifts he wraps for delivery to Coralville Children's Hospital, is one containing a very special gift: an invitation for a lucky child to spend Christmas with International Rescue.
Christmas Special - Trial Run[]
Before the Christmas rocket can be sent, a trial run is organized. Tanner carefully wrap the presents in brown paper and load them into container, that will be attached to the rocket.
Lucky Winner Number 185[]
With the trial run a complete success, Tanner sets about loading the Christmas presents into the container. The very last present contains a very special Christmas present , a trip to Tracy Island.
A Visit From the Bank's Security[]
Tanner is finishing off in the packing room when two security guards come rushing in, looking for the bank robbers.

- The Tanner puppet first appeared in The Cham-Cham, where he made a cameo appearance as an Assistant Controller. Later in the same episode, a portrait of him can be seen hanging on the wall of Maxie's office. He appears again as the first reporter in Alias Mr. Hackenbacker, and as Frank Hooper in Atlantic Inferno.
