"The Space Cannon" is a Thunderbirds comic story, first published as a three part story in TV21 between issues 170 and 172.
At only three parts long, the story is the shortest comic in the TV21 series.
Synopsis[]
A sharp-shooting hoverbike rider is goaded into shooting down a cargo plane by his friends. Unbeknownst to him, the downed jet's cargo is a neutron cannon destined for defending the outer solar system. The crash has put it in automatic firing mode, and with just 90 seconds between each shot everything within a 1000 mile radius is in great danger. International Rescue arrive to safely disable the cannon, but the order comes in from the Defence Ministry to destroy the cannon via atomic bomb - no matter what, or who, gets caught up in the fallout.
