"The Earthquake Maker" is a Thunderbirds comic story, first published in TV Century 21 issues 141 - 146, 30th September - 4th November 1967.
Synopsis[]
A series of devastating earthquakes strikes a series of cities throughout Iran. While the Iranian authorities think it's just a stroke of bad luck, Brains from International Rescue suspects something unnatural is going on, and discovers the latest terrorist plot from Bereznik.

The story was translated into Dutch and printed in TV2000, between its issues numbered 12/1968 and 17/1968.
For an English-speaking audience, it showed up from issues 1 to 3 of Thunderbirds: The Comic (October 19th - November 16th 1991) and renamed The Earthquake Man.

- International Rescue had encountered another group creating fake earthquakes just three stories earlier, in Operation Earthquake.
- Following in from the destructions of the Mole and Thunderbird 4 in earlier stories, Thunderbird 2 finds itself out of action and marooned in the Persian deserts after getting roasted by a massive flame-thrower.
