
The Complete Thunderbirds Story was told over 45 issues of the Thunderbirds comic.
Published by Fleetway Editions Ltd, on 6th February 1993 (comic No.35) and ran consecutively for 45 weeks, the final part was issues in comic No:79 on October 28th 1994.

Freedom Shuttle Orbiter- code-named Ultra lifts off from Kennedy Space Centre, Cape Canaveral. Coupled to its booster rockets and fuel tank, the reusable space vehicle is on its way to the space station Freedom on fixed orbit around the earth. Six astronauts are due to relieve the current crew of Freedom. Colonel Jeff Tracy has a special mission.
For the past three years, Tracy has been working on experiments connected with the design and development of launch vehicles that can take mankind beyond the moon. New forms of propulsion are also one of Jeff's keen studies.

International Rescue has been established and the newly built Thunderbirds 2 and 4 are involved in tests. Danger threatens when Thunderbird 4's buoyancy tanks fail... and Thunderbird 2 loses a Pod.

After some initial problems the newly formed International Rescue organisation has commissioned three of the incredible machines it needs to carry out its work. The Tracy Corporation has been given permission to build a space station, and a space vehicle nears completion.

Jeff Tracy's group of companies is one of the foremost suppliers of space hardware to governments and industries throughout the world. But the new space station is special. It will become the main communications intelligence for International Rescue.

Tracy Aerospace of Jeff's giant industrial organisation, has supplied components for the new Fireflash airliner, soon to go into service on Air Terrainean's route from London to Tokyo. Jeff and Brains are amongst the invited guests on one of the new aircraft's around the world proving flights.

The final pieces in the complex jigsaw puzzle that has made International Rescue possible have been put in place. The Thunderbirds machines are fully operational and the key personnel, headed by Jeff Tracy are ready for action.
