A new fighter jet is put through its paces at the beginning of Edge of Impact. Watching from a hill top bunker is General Bron and Agent 671 (the Hood).
The jet has a devastating missile system, that quickly destroys a refinery and a target ship, but is still considered inferior to the new Red Arrow fighter currently being tested in London, England.
