I think Wilson was based on the Egyptologist Belzoni. At least it would explain his name and beard. If this is indeed the case, his colleague Lindsey may have been based on Lepsius. (Belzon-i => Wilson; Lepsi-us => Lindsey) Sigmund 2014 (talk) 14:18, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
