Transcript[]

Like how the episodes and two films have a transcript, can I go ahead and do one for Filmed In Supermarionation? Sadly it has no subtitles. :( Roy Travers (talk) 13:15, June 4, 2016 (UTC)

No, I don't think so.

Oh ok. Was just wondering as there wasn't a transcript already for it; it made sense to check first. Just out of interest, why can't I do a transcript for Filmed In Supermarionation? Roy Travers (talk) 23:04, June 4, 2016 (UTC)
I say go for writing a transcript, if you want to. Kevin 'Chalky' Kaiba (talk) 13:00, June 5, 2016 (UTC)
I'm already at work on a transcript; I'm up to the part where some of the crew are at Islet Park. It's really long though as some aspects of Filmed In Supermarionation are quite intricate to explain. You'll know what I'm talking about if you've seen it. I was considering cutting out non-dialogue for the first transcript then maybe if everyone's okay with it the transcript can be expanded with the non-dialogue parts. I'm just getting some thoughts on this first though. Roy Travers (talk) 14:10, June 5, 2016 (UTC)

As FiS is a lot newer than Thunderbirds, it's probably under a different copyright. Would you buy the DVD if you could read the whole thing online, Snippy?
Guyus24Talk21:10, 6.5.2016

Your assumption is correct - Network Distributing hold the rights to FiS. Would you buy the 2004 movie if you could "read the whole thing online"? In fact, you can on the wiki - there's a transcript for it. Needless to say, the movie isn't well-liked; I didn't enjoy it at all.
Doesn't the "Would you buy the DVD if you could read the whole thing online?" question hold true for the Thunderbirds episodes too? Although reading it isn't the same as watching it. You don't see any footage that way, obviously.
You know what I think? Soembody will soon put the enormous takeaway message from the documentary on the wiki. It probably won't be the exact words as what the people in it say though.
Oh, I almost forgot - why did you call me "Snippy"? Did my comments suggest I was going to cut people off from buying FiS? That's the only thing I can think of that would trigger being called that.
What are your thoughts about what I've said? Roy Travers (talk) 22:43, June 5, 2016 (UTC)
Please note that unless there is a general agreement about it, I won't be putting a transcript of FiS on the wiki. Roy Travers (talk) 19:23, June 7, 2016 (UTC)

Plot[]

Since the current consensus seems to indicate that a transcript about FiS is not desired on the wiki, I will instead write a "plot" for what happens throughout the documentary; there is no reason why I can't. Roy Travers (talk) 21:04, June 9, 2016 (UTC)
