The TX-204 is a target carrying aircraft used to place unmanned gliders in the air for use in target practice exercises. One was used to place Bob Meddings in the wing of Fireflash on its maiden flight, in a failed attempt to remove a bomb placed there by The Hood.
Another TX-204 made a cameo in Edge Of Impact.
Another also appeared in The Mighty Atom, where it was used as an evacuation aircraft for the Australian Atomic Station workers to escape the nuclear explosion.
