Stephen Lowen (November 9th, 1974 - June 10th, 2003) worked as a rigger on the 2004 movie Thunderbirds.
On 9 June 2003, he fell 16 feet whilst dismantling a scaffolding tower on the set of the movie at Pinewood Studios. Lowen was critically injured and taken to hospital, where he subsequently passed away aged 28. Lowen was described as a wonderfully friendly and kind gentleman by his family, and would spread smiles wherever he went. The movie is dedicated to his memory.
