As he was enjoying his drive, he got in the way of Jeremiah Tuttle, who was trying to get to Lady Penelope. The Speed Merchant was shocked when Jeremiah's old banger effortlessly overtook his modern sports car.

- This puppet also played both the waiter and a train passenger in The Perils of Penelope. It also played an engineer in End of the Road. It made a cameo as a barman at Parola Sands Raceway in Move - And You're Dead, and another as the cocktail waiter aboard Fireflash in The Man From MI.5. In The Duchess Assignment, it played a gambler.
