"Signals Part 2" is the 15th episode of Thunderbirds Are Go! season 3. It was broadcast on June 22, 2019, in the UK.

Plot

Kayo and Alan must work fast to recapture Thunderbird 3 from Havoc before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Scott’s efforts to extract the escape pod from Jeff’s downed aircraft run into serious complications.

Scott: "Hey, Virg, did you think to try the inflater bags?"
Virgil: "Ha-ha. Very funny."

Trivia

• This is the second time Penelope appears without Parker.
• Grandma Tracy makes a silent cameo in this episode.
• The plot of Legacy is referenced when The Hood tells Havoc that "he made a similar mistake" in "stealing a Thunderbird" and not "keeping it".
• The Hood and Havoc both quote "F.A.B.", which is usually - and only - used by International Rescue.
• The moon base and lunar rover from Relic are seen again after Dobbs and Reece bail out of the Chaos Cruiser to land on the moon.
• Dobbs and Reece return from the previous episode, marking the first time a two-parter has a consistent guest cast.
• David Graham is credited as the voice of Braman, but Braman isn't featured in this episode.
  • Moreover, David Graham doesn't provide the voice of any character in this episode.
• Thunderbird 2 is shown to be able to operate (with a lot of difficulties) underwater.
• Unlike any other second part episode, with the exception of Chaos Part 2, this episode begins before the opening credits.
• Signals is, so far, the only two-part episode not to feature the entire Thunderbird fleet (Thunderbird 1 is not used while 2, 3 and 4 play key parts in the plot and 5 serves its usual role as the communications hub). Moreover, FAB 1 doesn't make an appearance either.
