"Revolt on Jupiter" is a Thunderbirds comic story, first published in the pages of TV21 between issues 179 and 183.
Synopsis[]
Jeff Tracy is amazed to see that Kranol, the ageing leader of the original peoples of Jupiter before mankind colonised the planet, has failed to launch a second revolt against their colonisers. Jeff was on hand the first time around some twenty years earlier, and wishes to see his old enemy one last time before he is exiled. However, as TB3 is en-route to intercept his transporter, it is attacked - and International Rescue are forced to do their best to keep Kranol alive, playing cat-and-mouse with his attackers as they race across the solar system towards a hospital that can treat his injuries.

Reprint History[]
The story was first reprinted as Mission to Moonbase in Fleetway's second Thunderbirds Holiday Special.
It would much later appear as The Barracuda Awaits in Menace from Space, the fifth volume of the Century 21 comic collection.
Trivia[]
- Jeff is stated to have been the construction manager of mankind's colony on Jupiter, and was an instrumental figure is defeating Kranol's revolt the first time around. Such a backstory seems somewhat incompatible with Kyrano's assertion in Trapped in the Sky that he was 'just' one of the first men on the moon, and indeed is never brought up again - eventually being forgotten about by the time The Complete Thunderbirds Story was written during the 1990s.
