Professor Quentin Questa is a volcanologist who, for the past 10 years, incorrectly believed that Hrómundartinhurmindur, an Icelandic volcano, was going to erupt. Even International Rescue kept dismissing his theory.
However, at a time when International Rescue had a backlog of rescues to deal with, Quentin called upon Newton's Fourth Law - a scientific code of honor - so Brains and MAX were sent out via Thunderbird 1. Brains tried to convince the professor that he was still incorrect about the volcanic eruption. However, once they ventured inside the volcano, Brains realised that Quentin was indeed correct - Hrómundartinhurmindur was going to blow! And it would take out a local hotel and spa.
Quentin knew that the only way to save the local hotel and spa was to control the flow of the lava, so Brains called for Virgil Tracy aboard Thunderbird 2 to configure two Mole pods, set on auto-pilot. Thanks to Newton's Fourth Law, the experiment worked and the local hotel and spa was saved.
Afterwards, Brains told the professor to call International Rescue, just in case of another volcanic eruption.
