The newspaper vendor
The newspaper vendor is a minor character from The Stately Homes Robberies and its visual counterpart. He sells the newspaper about the stately home that had been robbed by Mr. Charles and his chauffeur Dawkins. These reports are what leads Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward and Parker to investigate the robberies.
He was voiced by David Graham.

The newspaper vendor scene includes a closeup shot showing some fictional newspapers and real-world magazines. The magazines are a Television Mail Thunderbirds Supplement from 1965, and a British Kinematography, Sound and Television from the early 1970s.
