Mr. Glinka is a character from the Thunderbirds 2086 episode Shadow Axis. He is one of the crew members of the Research Submarine who get abducted by the Shadow Axis organisation.

He was humorously named after Gunter Glinka, who worked on the show as editor. To complete the joke, Mr. Glinka was made to utter one of the most ridiculous lines to be found anywhere in Thunderbirds. When the spaceship he's being held captive on comes under attack from the International Rescue Organisation, he completely loses it, and blurts out: "Hey, I forgot. I left my Tri-D screen on at home, and tomorrow's my mom's birthday, and my cat is sick, and... boo-hoo-hoo!"
