Miss Wilshaw worked for Hiram Blake at his optician's shop in down-town New York.
After making sure all of the next day's appointments were drawn up and in a book, Wilshaw was preparing to leave work for the day when she encountered two men hiding out on the street. The men were goons working for master-criminal the Hood, who needed to take over the optician's shop in order to carry out a devastating plan. Not wanting anyone to get in the way of their plan, one of the goons shot and killed Miss Wilshaw with some sort of ray gun. Her death was noted to have occurred with "horrifying speed".
Miss Wilshaw appeared in Brains is Dead, and for the story's audio adaptation in Thunderbirds Versus the Hood she was voiced by Genevieve Gaunt.
