In Lord Parker's 'Oliday, Professor Lungren has developed a solar generator which will, as its first test, power the sleepy Mediterranean town of Monte Bianco from a vantage point on a mountain overlooking the town. Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward and Aloysius Parker are among the invited guests at the hotel to witness this historic event.
Parker's 'Oliday[]
Lady Penelope explains to Parker that this will be his holiday too, and to dress more casually for the trip. Bags packed, they set off for Monte Bianco in FAB 1.
Parker Meets Bruno[]
On arrival at the hotel, Parker is enjoying himself by bossing the staff around, getting Bruno to take the cases in. Standing in the pouring rain, Bruno gets revenge by telling Parker to "go get changed before he floods the hotel"
Bruno Predicts a Disaster[]
During the Fancy dress party a violent storm hits the surrounding area. The solar refactor dish is repeatedly struck by lighting and eventually buckles, crashing down the mountainside, Bruno whispers to Lady Penelope, "when the sun rises tomorrow, it will be a great disaster". Lady Penelope thinking he may be right, tells Parker, she must contact Jeff. Find the old man, and make sure he talks to no-one. And make sure no-one leaves. We may need every pair of hands we can get."
Lord Parker's Bingo[]
Parker with the help of Bruno, make plans to keep the hotel guests occupied so that panic doesn't set in. As the sun begins to rise, they wake the Manager and hotel guests and get them to go to the ballroom to play 'Lord Parkers Bingo'. The manager thinks Parker is a real Lord and is keen to help!
Going Like a House on Fire![]
Parker keeps the guests amused while the building starts to smoulder, even Parker's slip of the tongue, announcing "Things are really hotting up now" and "Now we're going like a house on fire!" goes unnoticed.
Parker Has Some Explaining to Do[]
The guests are saved and in the morning Lady Penelope asks why everyone is now calling him "Lord Parker" he sheepishly replied, he thought the guests would be more inclined to take orders from an English lord. Quickly forgiven he's ready for the beach.
