Trivia

• Lansfield is referred to by name only once, when Colonel Jameson tells him he doesn't know what to make of it. The name used is actually Langfield. This is exactly what happened to Wakefield in The Impostors. Even more amazingly, both times the incorrect name is used by a character played by the same puppet, wearing the same uniform, standing on the same set.

• His puppet also appeared in The Impostors, playing the part of an unnamed Air Force Officer, in Atlantic Inferno as the First Officer of the WNS Atlantic, and in Danger At Ocean Deep as Captain Johnson. He put in a cameo in The Cham-Cham, as a hotel guests in the cocktail lounge of the Paradise Peaks Hotel. A couple of portraits of him are also seen in Maxie's office. In Alias Mr. Hackenbacker it played a photographer on the observation roof at London International Airport.
