The imposter Lane is a character from the film Thunderbird 6. He assumed the real steward Lane's identity after he had been shot dead by the gang leader. Later in the film, he is shot himself by Alan Tracy, causing him to fall off the wing of Thunderbird 6 to his death.
He was voiced by Gary Files.

- Both the real and impostor Lanes are named after director David Lane, who directed both films.
- The same puppet appeared in Give or Take a Million as a guest at Harman's Christmas Party. In Thunderbirds Are Go, it played Greg Martin.
