The 12th issue of Lady Penelope was dated April 9th, 1966.

The cover referred to the week's FAB Club competition, which was to pick a new name for FAB 2 from a short-list.

Contents[]

  • Your Post M'Lady: The short note supposedly written by Lady Penelope herself refers to the events of Perils of Parker 10, as she notes that the mansion's ground are blooming for Easter, despite Parker's chemical compost. A small feature on Virgil Tracy is published in response to a reader's letter.
  • Perils of Parker: no. 12

  • FAB Club: This week's special features are all Easter themed. It is mentioned that Parker has been hard-boiling eggs and rolling them along the corridors, much to Lil's dismay. This week's competition sees 10 playsuits by Emily Jane go up as first prizes, and 25 Kodak cameras for runner-ups. The World Maritime Board has requested Lady Penelope rename her yacht FAB 2, as its present name is supposedly confusing naval communication. Entrants would have to pick one of 6 short-listed new names - Hey Ladyship, The Saucy Kipper, Albatross, Sea Sprite, Ocean Queen, or Atlanta - and in no more than 10 words say why their choice was best. The winners would be printed in issue 20, with Sea Sprite being the "correct" answer.
  • Bewitched comic
  • Marina Girl of the Sea: How the Mysterious and Beautiful Marina May Never Speak Again! part twelve - Stingray prequel series starring Marina.
