John Evans is a BAFTA Award-winning special effects artist. He was an uncredited special effects technician on the 1968 feature film Thunderbird 6. He previously worked as a rigger in Borehamwood.
After Thunderbird 6, Evans worked continued to work in the film industry on productions including The Secret Service (1969), The Man with the Golden Gun (1975), Full Metal Jacket (1987), and Batman (1989). More recently, he was a special effects supervisor on Doom (2005) - his last known work in the film industry.
In February 2019, Evans attended a 30th anniversary screening of the 1989 Batman film at Picturehouse Central in London.
