The Interceptor One pilot is a character from Trapped in the Sky. He was conducting target practice with a TX-204 target carrying aircraft. During this, the TX-204 was recalled to London International Airport to assist in the rescue attempt of the stricken airliner Fireflash on its maiden flight.

- The same puppet also played the co-pilot of the TX-204, still wearing the same oxygen mask.

- This is a rare case of a puppet being used for two speaking characters in a single episode. Additionally, the puppet appeared earlier in the episode as a man in the departure lounge of the airport.
