Hendricks drove to New York Central Airport to pick up Duchess of Royston for her meeting with Wilbur Dandridge. Whilst on the phone at the airport, he was hit on the head and knocked unconscious by Brophy. After stealing his uniform and posing as the chauffeur, Brophy tricked the Duchess into being kidnapped.
