The Gray & Houseman Crawler is a tracked vehicle, belonging to the Gray & Houseman Mining Company, which moves along the 'dark side' of Mercury to avoid being destroyed by the immense heat from the Sun.
When a malfunction pod put the crawler out of action, International Rescue were called in to get the vehicle working again before the Sun came over the horizon.
