"Flight to Destruction" is a Thunderbirds short story, first published in TV Century 21's 1966 Thunderbirds Extra.
Synopsis[]
A gas leak inside Thunderbird 3's cooling system knocks out John Tracy as he makes his way back from duty on Thunderbird 5. With his controls stuck on manual and heading directly for New York City, and with the World Government threatening to shoot Thunderbird 3 out of the sky, International Rescue might just be out of luck to save one of their own.
