Virgil: "Brains, don't look so worried."

Scott: "Can you make a firebreak for us?"
Gordon: "Are Land Pods green?"
Alan: "Does Parker need breath mints?"
Virgil: "We're on it, Scott."

Virgil: "Remember, this firebreak might be our only path out once we reach Scott and extract the scouts. You think you can keep it clear?"

Gordon: "Do Grandma's waffles taste like..."

Alan: "Yep, on it!"

Gordon: "Ha-ha! Nice one, Virgil! That's Alan's first bath in weeks!"
Alan: "It's been two days!"

Scott: "We can't wait any longer. This room will be hotter than an oven once the battery goes."
Bee: "Remember the oath. A rescue scout is..."
Scott: "...is calm. Thank you. Sometimes even we need to be reminded."

Trivia[]

  • This episode features the Crablogger from Path of Destruction. Also, it borrows elements from Cry Wolf as two children find themselves trapped within a dangerous situation.
  • The Anasta Forest is a reference to Lake Anasta in Desperate Intruder.
  • This episode pays homage to Blazing Danger, which was the very first Thunderbirds adventure in the TV Century 21 comic-strips.
  • Bee's hover-chair pays homage to Commander Shore's hover-chair in the AP Films production Stingray.
  • Scott reveals that he is a former member of the Rescue Scouts, which were first mentioned by him in Chaos Part 1.
  • Virgil dons his fire-resistant version of his Jaws of Life, which was last seen in season 2's Inferno.
  • Brains announce the new Zero-X as "Zero-XL", which is a reference to AP Films' Fireball XL5.
  • This is the first episode in which Alan is seen suiting up on the sofa but not being loaded into Thunderbird 3.
  • This is the first time the pods are loaded back into Thunderbird 2's module, reassembled, and then sent back into the field.
  • This episode ends with Brains briefing Scott and Virgil about International Rescue's upcoming mission to the Oort Cloud, with Scott delivering the final line "Let's go get dad!". This leads directly into the succeeding episode.
    • Additionally, Brains and Virgil foreshadow the interference caused by the Chaos Crew.
  • This is the second time that the low-frequency suspension to put the fire, the first time was in Inferno.
  • It's a little weird that Thunderbird 2 can't lift the Crablogger when a few episodes ago, it flipped over an entire tanker, previously held up Thunderbird 4 in a gravity well, supported Fireflash during its emergency landing, has lifted the roof off several buildings, and even carried Thunderbird 1 itself down a mountain with no difficulty.
