Ambramovich Oil Platform was a gas and oil platform in the Bering Strait. It was seen in the 2004 movie Thunderbirds.
While at school, Alan and Fermat watch International Rescue save 6 men trapped on a burning oil rig. What they don't realize is that the unfolding disaster is part of The Hood's latest fiendish plan.

The rescue[]
Jeff and Virgil are in Thunderbird 2 (2004 Movie), while Scott is piloting Thunderbird 1 (2004 Movie). Virgil boards the Rescue Platform and is lowered down from Thunderbird 2. Once he gets a visual on the trapped men, he fires 6 wires at them and lifts them off the rig. Scott then fires a well-aimed missile that extinguishes the blaze. Thunderbird 2 hauls in the Rescue Platform, and immediately heads for San Francisco, approximately 2,500 miles away. There, it lowers the platform to the ground, and the rescued men disembark.
