Dr. Orchard had a motor launch at his river house on the Ambro River. It was needed in Attack of the Alligators! to rescue Blackmer, when Culp's boat came under attack from giant alligators.

Culp intends to make a getaway with the phial of Theramine, threatening to pour it into the swamp unless he is given clear passage. He steals Dr. Orchard's launch, but it is attacked by a giant alligator and destroyed.
