Dan Castellaneta (born October 29th, 1957) is a multi-Emmy Award winning American actor, voice actor, screenwriter and comedian. Although best known for the voice of Homer Simpson on the animated series The Simpsons, Castellaneta has provided voices on a multitude of projects over the decades, including Scarface on The Batman, Grandpa on Hey Arnold!, Megavolt on Darkwing Duck, leading namesake on Earthworm Jim, Genie on the Aladdin television series, and many, many more.
Outside of vocal work, Castellaneta has appeard on series such as Married with Children, ALF, Stargate SG-1, Frasier, the U.S. version of The Office, Ghost Whisperer, and Bones.
