The untitled second Thunderbirds comic story was published as a complete adventure in issue six of Countdown.
Reflecting the series' stripped-back nature, the story features the return of the Hood, last seen in 1970's The Mountain Station, as he orchestrates a disaster designed to get the attention of International Rescue.
Synopsis[]
The Hood, along with 1000 other passengers, boards the submarine liner Kennedy for its maiden voyage to the Arctic Ocean. Little do the passengers and crew know they are just pawns in the Hood's latest plan to steal the secrets of International Rescue, when he blows the ship's propulsion unit up in order to attract the attention of the rescue agency.
