The controller is a character from Up from the Depths Part 1. He was in charge of XN Industrial's Mariana Trench mapping process, and was on the end of the radio for the Deep Ocean Surveyor crew Clarke and Sontag. When the surveyor ran into some trouble, he made sure to contact International Rescue, suggesting he was not aware of his boss' secret intentions.
The controller was voiced by Kayvan Novak.
