Thunderbirds first appeared in comic strip form during the mid-1960s in the futuristic comic TV Century 21 (in fact, the Lady Penelope comic in this publication would predate the television series by 8 months!), as well as annuals and other spin-offs. Featuring artwork by leading comic strip artists of the time, including Frank Bellamy.

Deep Sea Pirates[]

A giant undersea craft has discovered a vast natural diamond field and has taken aboard over one million pounds worth of uncut diamonds. Pirates steal the diamonds and leave the vessel stricken on the seabed in the deepest part of the Atlantic. Only International Rescue can save the day.
