"Collision Course" is an original comic that was published in the Thunderbirds Annual 1969. As is usual for stories in the annual, no writer or artist are credited.
Plot[]
While contacting Tracy Island, Thunderbird Five loses contact, so Alan takes Thunderbird Three to find him. Upon discovery it's revealed both Thunderbird Three and Five have become magnetically attracted to an asteroid that has a collision course for an orbital space hospital. John suggests blowing up the asteroid, splitting it in half and making it an easier chunk for Thunderbird Three to blast with missiles and save the hospital.
