Big George is a notorious burglar operating in the London area. According to Parker, he is one of the city's biggest break-in experts, being able to bypass any alarms and lock systems.
After failing to steal the invisible ray torch (only managing to take a decoy torch) from Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward, the Hood sought out the assistance of George to forcefully break into Creighton-Ward Manor to take it for him. However, Lady Penelope had placed a small transmitting cell in the decoy torch, which alerted her and Parker to the Hood's intentions.
Big George sent his men along to perform the job later that night, with the Hood accompanying. Lady Penelope and Parker had only moments earlier been arrested by the British Secret Service, leaving the Manor largely empty. However, George's men found out the hard way that the gates were electrified (which were connected to an alarm that notified the local police), and upon trying to climb the wall they found themselves restrained by electronic grabs hidden on the inner-facing wall. After the Hood hears the oncoming police sirens, he bails, leaving George's men to face their fate.
