Barrett Bell is a space freighter pilot who was returning to Earth when he unfortunately had a collision with Juliette Martin's space freighter.
Both pilots blamed each other for the accident, and they were still arguing when John Tracy was trying to assess the situation. Alan Tracy aboard Thunderbird 3 came to get both pilots out of their mess, and unfortunately, for Alan, moving the space freighters out of Earth's orbit used up his craft's fuel. Quick thinking, Barrett suggested to Alan about using the fuel from his freighter. Then, with John's assistance, Alan got Juliette and Barrett out of their freighters before they were destroyed.
Although they argued at first, Barrett became deeply concerned for Juliette when her life-support systems were damaged, and quickly they became friends; they even both agreed to have pizza once they got back to Earth.
Barrett Bell appeared in Crash Course, and was voiced by Adam Howden.

- Perhaps coincidentally, Barrett Bell's name comes from two people from the classic series: voice actor Ray Barrett, and art director Bob Bell.
- Barrett's main hobby is surfing as he had a surfing image on the control panel of his space freighter.
